Cheddar, Buttermilk & Herb Biscuits

- 2 cups flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ tablespoon dried basil
- ½ tablespoon dried oregano
- 1 cup buttermilk, divided
- 1 stick butter, divided into quarters
- 1 cup grated Conebella Farm mild cheddar
- Preheat oven to 350.
- Mix flour, baking powder, herbs and salt in a food processor with a metal blade.
- Add butter, one quarter at a time and mix until well blended.
- Add Conebella Farm mild cheddar and mix.
- Slowly add ¾ cup buttermilk until mixture comes together. (It should still be sticky.)
- Drop biscuits onto a greased cookie sheet.
- Bake at 350 for about 25 minutes, or until golden.
